My Thoughts on Aprilskin Collagen Peptide Plumping Serum

Ingredients
Looking into the full list of ingredients for Aprilskin Collagen Peptide Plumping Serum its main ingredients are
Packaging
It comes in a fully sealed plastic bottle with a pump head. The design is minimal and I totally love how neat the packaging is. It pumps out the right amount of serum every time, however, it does tend to squirt out so make sure your fingers are at the right place if you don't want to waste any serum.
Texture
It's very light, runny and oily at first. However, once fully absorbed, the serum does not leave any oily or sticky feel to the skin which feels very nice.
Scent-Wise
I don't know why, but the scent of this serum brings me back to my great-grandmother's homemade coconut oil which she uses for traditional massage. LOL... I know this may sound funny, but every time I apply this, it makes me remember the exact same scent. Looking into the ingredients, I don't find any coconut though, probably jojoba has a similar scent (I'm not sure). It has a very minimal oily scent which I can't find the exact words to describe.
Experience
Disclaimer- This review was scheduled to be posted up by December 2022, however, due to personal struggles I have had a hard time balancing my time to blog. So I hope now it's not too late for my review since I just managed to empty the serum.
I've tried this serum on days and also nights. Both seem to go well in whichever routine, but I made sure I've paired it up with the Peptide Cream. However, I find myself reaching this combo for my day routine instead of my night one as this combo is very lightweight on the skin. Which makes my skin feels fresher and more breathable during the day. Or probably my preferences for night skincare routines are creamy and heavy creams which is exactly not this one.
I've emptied both bottles, serum & cream and throughout my journey using both of these products I did not have a single breakout. Only after I ran out of these products and started to start a new product did my skin start to break out and it's not looking good.
Overall Thoughts
Aprilskin Collagen Peptide Plumping Serum is a good try if you're looking into an anti-age line that is not heavy on the skin. The ingredients are mostly filled with highly moisturizing ingredients which suit most skin but if you have oily skin, it's best to do a patch test first. Overall, I would recommend Aprilskin's Peptide Line.
