What is Aprilskin Triple Acids Oil-Absorbing Clay Mask

Aprilskin Triple Acids Oil-Absorbing Clay Mask is an exfoliating wash-off clay mask.  APRILSKIN claims its pore-vacuuming Triple Acids Clay Mask is one of its best-selling products which targets those with sebum, oily skin, and enlarged and clogged pores.

This clay mask contains French Green Clay, Calming Complex and 21.5% Oil-Absorbing ingredients including kaolin, bentonite, and charcoal powder. 3% PHA+AHA+BHA soften blackheads, calms and heals acne, and improves overall skin texture and complexion. 

This pore-tox mask gently and deeply cleanses accumulated dead skin and minimizes pores and shine without over-drying. The mask first absorbs excess sebum like an oil blotter and dries matte when it's done working its magic.

Ingredients
Looking into the full list of ingredients for Aprilskin Triple Acids Oil-Absorbing Clay Mask its main ingredients are Montmorillonite (Clay), Kaolin and exfoliants Salicylic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Mandelic Acid, and Lactic Acid. Other than that, it also contains Carrot Root Extract & Carrot Seed Oil which also is a soft exfoliating agents. Other goodies include Niacinamide and a few plant extracts. However, it does contain Algin, which is considered irritating.

Packaging
It comes in a black gradient see-through plastic tube with a transparent plastic cap. The design looks masculine don't you think? What's important is that it manages to do its job well. Taking out products is easy with a squeeze bottle like this. 

Texture
Indeed the clay spreads like ice cream during application. So it makes it easy to apply it evenly throughout the face. It takes about 6 minutes to completely dry, and I feel that a minute or two after it dries, I best wash it off. The skin starts feeling tight when it dries and it creates a very thin layer of dried clay on the skin which is flaky. Rinsing it off is super easy, it comes off almost instantly. So I guess, if you just wipe it off with a damp towel, it'll come off instantly.

Scent-Wise
It has a very light scent

Experience
When it comes to exfoliating products, I could say Aprilskin is one of the best brands that make them. Exfoliating products could be rather irritating especially when it works like a charm. In my experience with Aprilskin exfoliating products, it swipes away pores like magic and this Triple acid Oil-Absorbing Clay Mask is no different. However, I do notice that the first time I try a new exfoliating product from Aprilskin, my skin does seem to tingle and feel a bit irritated in the first 2-3 tries. But after that, I could hardly feel anything except the results afterwards. The sensation after rinsing off my face is like owning a new face I guess. My skin feels refreshed and so clean. It's like all the gunk inside my skin is completely sucked out. 

Overall Thoughts
Aprilskin Triple Acids Oil-Absorbing Clay Mask is a must-try! If you want a deep cleansing product that could get rid of sebum, blackheads & whiteheads but cannot go for peeling masks, you should try this Clay Mask from April Skin. It really does what it promises.
