Ingredients
Looking into the full list of ingredients for Filorga Skin-Unify Illuminating Even Skin Tone Cream, its main ingredients is Ascorbic Acid. The INCI list is super long and most of the ingredients are ones I'm not really familiar with, probably because it may all be premium ingredients. I'm unsure honestly. Going through roughly, the goodies I'm familiar with is Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E and a couple of Plant Extracts. Overall the INCI list doesn't look that promising with a few irritating ingredients including parfum on top, however I was still eager to give this cream a try.
Packaging
It comes in a plastic jar with a screw cap. Compared with Filorga's Global range with glass packaging, their Skin-Unify range is all in plastic so it feels less luxurious compared to the Global range. Instead of black, this range is white-coloured similar to other ranges they have which may be hard to differentiate at first glance. The packaging for the cream comes in a huge black outer box which I find totally unnecessary as the cream itself isn't that huge. The design is simple and does look classy, however, I find the jar packaging to be a bit of a nuisance since the cap needs to be carefully closed or it won't be screwed properly. I wish it came in a pump or a tube which would be more hyegenic.
Texture
This milky cream is viscous but lightweight. It glides and blends really well into the skin but it does take a bit of time to fully absorb. It's great that it's not sticky and it creates a smooth and silky finish to the skin. Instantly making the skin look dewy and healthy.
Scent-Wise
It has quite a strong citrus scent which is not really to my liking.
Experience
I have been using this cream together with Filorga's products from the same range and their global range for almost a month now and so far my skin seems to be compatible with this brand. However, I did experience a bit of irritation during the first few days of applying this cream. It was light stings and bearable so I didn't wash it off since it only lasted for a few seconds. After that, my skin adapted and I haven't felt any irritation ever since.
Within this time period using Filorga's products, I could see quite a noticeable difference in my skin as it looks healthier. My blemishes and dark spots have even faded out a lot and what I'm most impressed with is that my skin didn't break out at all.
Overall Thoughts
Overall the Filorga Skin-Unify Illuminating Even Skin Tone Cream is probably worth the try if you can afford it. Honestly, I wouldn't be able to splurge on an RM300 worth of cream, it scares me. However, the cream seemed to work really well with my skin, I can't say it worked wonders but I could definitely say it managed to make my skin look healthier and does give it some kind of glow too. I'm absolutely obsessed with how my skin looks now.
