My Thoughts on Kose Cosmeport Suncut UV Perfect Milk
This is my review of Kose Suncut UV Perfect MilkSwipe left for more pictures:
Ingredients
Looking into the full list of ingredients for Kose Suncut UV Perfect Milk, its sunscreen mineral is Zinc Oxide and also Octinoxate which makes it a hybrid sunscreen. It also contains Hyaluronic Acid, Chamomile Extract, Vitamin E and also Squalane which are very good ingredients. However, it contains Ethanol and a number of irritating ingredients as well.
Packaging
It comes in a fully covered golden plastic bottle with a screw cap and a small snout. The design is simple and the bottle functions wells to get the right amount of product out. However, I really hate their packaging because it's all in Japanese. Honestly, Japanese brands should consider English labels because their products are internationally sold and their labels are still in Japanese. One of the turn-offs, why I don't prefer buying Japanese products, is because it's hard to get direct information.
Texture
This milky white milk cream is very light but not too runny. It absorbs pretty well to the skin and does create a white cast if not blended properly. Once absorbs it creates a sheer finish and it does feel rather oily too.
Scent-Wise
It has quite a strong chemical scent
Experience
I'm almost out of this bottle but it took me so long to finish it, it's been more than 6 months already. It's not my first choice of sunscreen actually. I leave it in my bag for mid-day reapplication when I'm outside. Since the SPF and PA coverage is not that bad and the milk easily absorbs into the skin, it's kinda the perfect sunscreen for reapplication. However, since I'm pretty much at home during this lockdown, I'm having a hard time finishing this bottle. It doesn't cause me any irritation or redness and application is also quick, but I hate the oily feel afterwards.
Overall Thoughts
It does as it claims, it's waterproof and it comes off easily with a cleanser. Since the finish of the sunscreen creates a rather oily texture to the skin, it goes very well under makeup. Foundation seems to blend well too and creates a smoother finish. However, I would not be repurchasing Kose's Suncut UV Perfect Milk Super Water Proof SPF 50+ PA++++ anymore.
