My Thoughts on Aprilskin Artemisia Squalane Hydra Gel Cream
This is my review of Aprilskin Artemisia Squalane Hydra Gel CreamSwipe left for more pictures:
Ingredients
Looking into the full list of ingredients for Aprilskin Artemisia Squalane Hydra Gel Cream, its active ingredients are Squalane, Artemisia/Mugwort Extract and also Rice Bran Extract. All these are known for it's soothing & anti-inflammatory properties. Besides that, this cream also includes Sugarcane Extract, Hyaluronic Acid and also Ceramide NP. All good hydrating and skin-protecting ingredients. Overall, the INCI list looks great without any irritating ingredients included.
Packaging
It comes in a semi see-through plastic jar with a screw lid. I wished it came in a tube rather than a tub like Aprilskin's Carrotene Cream since it's easier and more hygienic. But still, the jar looks beautiful with its green colour, makes it looks rather exclusive too. Its labels are in English and Korean and I praise Aprilskin for making use of all their white space on the packaging so their users get all the info their supposed to.
Texture
Probably because of the packaging the white cream looks like it has a very faint greenish tint to it. The gel looks cream-ish but it's lightweight. The gel isn't runny but glides easily on the skin. It has great absorbency too which takes a few seconds to completely sink in. The skin feels goodly hydrated right after application.
Scent-Wise
It has minimal to no scent at all
Experience
I haven't tried this gel-cream yet because I'm currently trying to finish off my current stash. But I'll be using it soon since I've already tried Aprilskin's Artemisia toner and it's good. I'll update this post again once I have fully reviewed this cream.
Overall Thoughts
This cream seems very promising so I can't really wait to try it. It's not available yet on Aprilskin's Malaysia website but you can find it easily in e-commerce websites.
