This moisture essence from April Skin is focused on those with dry skin with enlarged pores, sensitive and irritated skin, dehydrated oily skin and dull and tired skin.

How To Use Aprilskin Calendula Essence

After applying toner onto the skin, apply the essence. Place the essence on your palms before patting it on your skin. Avoid dropper to direct touch your skin for hygiene purposes.

Ingredients
Looking into the full list ingredients of April Skin Real Calendula Deep Moisture Essence it's key ingredients are the Calendula Flower and 5 different types of Hyaluronic Acid. These 2 ingredients are great enough showing how hydrating the essence should be. Other than that, it also contains flower and plant extracts that are mostly anti-oxidants and have hydrating purposes. It does contain essential oils but overall the ingredient list looks great!

Packaging
It comes in a semi see-through frosted glass bottle which you can see calendula petals inside if you look closely. The glass bottle may be a bit bulky but it looks great when displayed. Anyhow, the packaging itself functions greatly, the dropper is easy to use and I haven't had any problems with spills either.

Texture
It's very lightweight but doesn't have a thick viscosity and it isn't very watery. It absorbs quite well into the skin but it does leave quite a sticky feeling afterwards. The skin instantly feels smooth but somehow I find it a bit tightening to my skin.

Scent-Wise
It's quite strong which I expected already. The scent is quite pleasant and calming.

Experience
I haven't fully experienced this essence yet as I'm having hormonal issues with my skin right now. So I've postponed using it until a later period and will only update my experience using it after I've tried it for about a week above. I did try this once to do a patch test and everything seemed fine but I'll only know when I fully use the product.

Overall Thoughts
The essence looks and sounds great! I'm looking forward to how moisturising it would be on my skin. The ingredient list does look promising, except for the essential oils, but I've never really had problems with that.
