It's my first try for Huxley's masks and I couldn't be more pleased. Huxley has 3 types of masks, the one I got is Huxley Mask Secret Of Sahara Glow And Brightness and it's supposed to give you a lighter tone after usage. I'm not really sure if that would work with 3 pieces of masks though but the experience of using it is indeed delightful. Keep on reading to know the deets on this highly raved mask.

What is Huxley Secret of Sahara Mask; Glow and Brightness?
It's a brightening sheet mask that's infused with cactus extracts. Huxley masks are sold with two separate serums which once combine will create a milky essence that protects the skin from various harmful environmental factors.

How To Use Huxley Mask
Step 1: Fold over the bottom pouch 3 times as pictured and apply pressure until the pouch pops, pushing the oil into the top pouch.
Step 2: Press down evenly on the surface of the top pouch until the mixture turns a milky color. After cleansing and toning, apply the sheet mask over the face. Leave it on for 10-20 minutes.
Step 3: After removing the sheet, gently pat excess treatment into skin for maximum absorption
My Thoughts on Huxley's Glow and Brightness Mask
This sheet mask is surely one of a kind! I've been eyeing this sheet mask for ages but I don't know why I still didn't get it despite seeing so many good reviews about it. Most probably because of the price factor. It's pricey! And I bet most of you might be thinking the same, is it worth the spend

Ingredients
Looking into the ingredient list, I feel like I could figure out why the mask comes with a price tag. Most probably the main ingredients used are pricey as I don't really see much of these ingredients in drug store products. Especially Arabian Cotton, this is my first time even knowing there's an ingredient exist and it's a great protectant from photo-ageing. One of the most crucial thing we want living in a tropical country. This mask also contains alcohol and fragrance which you might need to look into for those with sensitive skin. However, the rest of the ingredient list looks amazing!
Packaging
The minimalist style of Huxley really makes its product stand out elegantly and looks exclusive. Which also makes it gives a very aesthetic vibe when taking pictures. Honestly, Huxley wins in neat and simple packaging but still able to make it look expensive. The packaging of the mask is see-through clear with a matte feel. It comes with 2 pouches in 1 sheet mask to separate the serums to maintain it's freshness.
Texture
The serum in the mask pouch is clear while the one operated is rather yellowish which looks like oil. Once both are combined, it gradually turns into a milky serum which then is advised to make sure the mixture is mixed well before opening the packet. Once opened, the texture of the serum is very light and tend to be a bit oily. I have no complain for that though as I've tried applying the serum on my hand and it quickly absorbed in the skin.
Scent-Wise
Huxley mentioned having worked on the scent with nature as an inspiration and indeed it turned out well. I'm not sure with most of you but I love the scent, it's completely calming and it helps in relaxing. It's advised to avoid products with fragrance inside but for me, I don't mind as long as it doesn't cause breakouts.
Experience
3 pieces honestly aren't enough to get a fully satisfactional experience using this mask. LOL... Honestly, Huxley's masks are a fun one. With its separation of serums, it was indeed a pleasing experience mixing the serums together but it was rather tough too. I had to use quite some strength to make the sheet pop so the serums could be mixed. Once mixed, seeing the serums mix and change colour is somehow very satisfying but of course, applying it on the face feels better.
Once the sheet mask is applied on the face, it gives instant relief of hydration and calming sensation with its scent. 20 minutes with this mask on, I felt like indulging with another one afterwards. The skin does feel sticky after using Huxley's mask, but by patting in the serum makes it dry quicker resulting in a very bouncy skin.
Overall Thoughts
Even though Huxley's mask Secret Of Sahara Glow And Brightness is for brightening, I can't really tell if it helped in brightening my skin tone. What I could definitely say that it gives the skin the hydration it needs and I can't move on from it.
These masks are expensive! So if I'm repurchasing these again, I'll probably only use it for certain occasions, when my skin needs to look plump and moisturised.
I highly recommended this mask from Huxley if you haven't tried them yet. It may be a bit pricey but it's worth it.
