Review: COSRX Hyaluronic Acid Hydra Power Essence

I have heard so much about Hyaluronic Acid throughout being a beauty blogger. It's a popular ingredient in products from well-known brands. It has so many benefits to the skin which makes beauty addicts obsessed with it. COSRX Hyaluronic Acid Hydra Power Essence is among one of the products that are based with Hyaluronic Acid. I've been using this for over 2 months now, read on to know if this product holds the power to give ample hydration the skin needs.

I was looking for an Essence to complete my skincare regime and I came across COSRX Hyaluronic Acid Hydra Power Essence. What came to my mind first is I have always heard a lot of positive feedbacks from COSRX products but never even tried one. So yes, I happened to get this because of the brand and a bit of research on how Hyaluronic Acid helps with acne.

Hyaluronic Acid is a famous skincare ingredient which most brands have it in their products now. Besides its fame to provide ample hydration to the skin, it also helps treat acne and combats acne scars, which made me instantly eager to have this ingredient in part of my regime.

I was looking for something that consists of a higher percentage of hyaluronic acid but I forgot to check the list of ingredients. Turns out for this product, its formulated with hyaluronic acid and a mixture of other ingredients which one of them are Hippophae Rhamnoides Water which is also known as Sea Buckthorn Berry. It's actually not a bad ingredient as it contains properties almost similar to hyaluronic acid as well and promises similar results too.

I use this in my daily skincare routine just after toning, which instantly gives my skin a boost of hydration. I also paired this with my Face Factory Aura Peeling Water Galvanic Device in its absorb more, which I feel helps the acid sink better in the skin.

Packaging
It's great that it came in a pump form as the texture is watery. I usually use 2 pumps each use and that more than enough to cover the whole face. I'm also glad it came in a clear bottle so I could see the amount of product left. COSRX bottles are mostly similar even it's a different range.

Texture
It's watery and very runny, that's why it's a good thing its bottle came in a pump form which helps reduce the risk of accidental spillage. It's also sticky like most hyaluronic acid-based products, but when I paired it with my Galvanic device, it seems to absorb the stickiness quickly in the skin.

Overall Thoughts

I'm pleased with this essence, I can't say this solely helped to give hydration to my skin since I do use other hyaluronic acid-based products in my routine, but I do see good progress when I'm using this. It's surely a keeper.
