ADRYSSA ATELIER X SERINA REDZUAWAN READY TO WEAR PLUS SIZE



Hey peeps,  Ramadan is next month so you'll know we could already smell the scent of our new dress in the morning of Syawal. Haha... I usually like to find mine last minute since I prefer ready-made dresses instead of sending them to a tailor. Ready-made dresses usually follow the latest trends and they are much prettier and affordable. To be honest, I haven't bought a new Raya dress since 2 years ago, because I didn't much feel like dressing up with Maliq still small, I wasn't really comfortable with myself. Anyhow, this year, I kinda feel like me again and feel like dressing up glamorous like I usually do on first of Syawal but the problem is, I gained weight after I got pregnant and now I'm a little chubbier than before. Wuuuuu... That troubles me because it's not easy to find a ready-made baju kurung for a larger size but then I came to know about Adryssa Atelier X Serina Redzuan. Keep reading on to know.




As Malaysians may know already, Serina Redzuan is the daughter of Malaysia's famous Chef and she herself loves to cook and eat. She says because of that she gained and became cuter by day and when it came to dressing up she'll usually have a hard time. I bet that most of us have experienced this before right? So because of that, she came up with an idea to create her own line with Adryssa Atelier that could dress up ladies from S to XXXXL. For this upcoming Syawal, she created several ranges of Baju Kurung wear consisting of modern kurung, cekak musang, beadings and so much more. All the designs were shown during their launch last week on the runaway of their launching ceremony.

We were introduced to 4 ranges of ready to wear Baju Kurungs during the launch which are:
All these ranges come in sizes from S to 4XL with different colors to offer. Their patterns are inspired usually by the names of the collections which you could probably guess which is which in the pictures below. Besides that, it's important to know that each design created is exclusive and limited since there are only 14 pieces available to purchase for each design. Yes! It's that limited, so if you see something you're fond of, better to grab it fast as it'll soon be out of stock no time. These are probably because the materials that the owner purchased are from overseas whenever they travel the world.

From all the collections, we could see a lot of beadings and feathers as well. All of these are sewed by hand which makes the detailed work very pretty especially when you look up close. However, my personal favorite should be from their Sakura Falls collection which is their modern baju kurung. I also got one for myself the exact same dress that the host is wearing. What I love about their collections is that they try to combine both past and modern wear in their collection. 
Placing orders are made easier as well, besides heading down to their boutique, you could also place an order through Instagram. Order placement is within 3 working days for readymades and 3 weeks for Adryssa Luxe which is their custom made range. Do take note that for measurement, design, beading, and delivery, 50% deposit is required. They also provide renting services as well from size S - XXXL which should be a more affordable option especially when you have a grand open house or event to attend to this Syawal. Their Luxe collection will have your jaws drop.
