Review: Murad Vitamin C Quenching Facial

I bet most of you have heard about Murad Skincare already. This treatment skincare brand is quite known in our country now and many have chosen to recover their skin concerns with this brand. If you haven't heard yet, Murad was around since 1989 founded by Dr. Murad so you'll know that you can trust this brand in terms of products as they have been able to run for so long. If you're a beauty addict you must already have heard of how good their products are. I haven't used their products before, to be honest as it's quite pricey but I understand why it should be. But reviews mostly say it's good but I don't know if it'll work for my skin though but I came to know that Murad offers facials. Did you know?

Bet most of you didn't know that either but turns out Murad has been offering facials for quite some time and it's even personalized too so address your skin concerns and the expert will take care of it for you. The best part about this facial is that if you're already using Murad products you won't have to change to a different skincare for the facial, you can just use the range that you're already using but enhanced with the usage of facial equipment and of course by the hands of an expert who pampers skin.

The one thing I didn't like about going to random facials is because I don't like putting on random skincare on myself especially products that I haven't heard off. Since Murad Skincare is already well-known and I've been eager to give it a try, a facial with their skincare, yes, please! It's like the ultimate trial. So I gave it a try at Murad's Facial Store at One Utama for their personalized Vitamin-C Quenching Facial.

The first step of the treatment was to analysis the skin condition from their machine, but unfortunately, during my visit, they had a problem with the machine so I was unable to get my skin result so I went straight in for treatment.

The treatment lounge in 1 Utama is located at the back of its store, with 3 separate cubes for treatment. The space isn't that big but it's cozy enough for a facial treatment to be done.

Above shows the facial room with products and equipment they use. Honestly, I didn't get to see which product they put on my face since I had my eyes shut mostly during the facial. The facial was for 75 minutes and there were several steps during the process.

They first started with cleaning my face, then cleansing it with warm water. After that, they added serum and moisturizer I think and then put my face under a humidifier for a few minutes before they proceeded to clean my blackheads and whiteheads manually. OMG... I haven't done that for ages and it hurts. LOL... I was used to it before but after a year actually clearing my clogged pores that way, it kinda twitched my pain receptors. 

I was so relieved when that was over. They then cleansed my face with warm water again and proceeded to masking. It was for about 15 minutes I think before they washed it off and proceeded to add serum and moisturizer at the end of the session. It was relaxing but I didn't really get to sleep, I could hear customers at front talking. Haha...

Overall the facial was as nice as any other facial that I've been to before. It felt great after the session and I was pleased that I knew the products they used on me were good ones from their Vitamin-C range. I noticed instant hydration to my skin and the hydration feel lasted for more than 3 days after the facial session. I also made sure that I took care of my daily skincare routine as an advantage to start fresh from this facial. Blackhead and whiteheads were mostly gone and I felt so pleased with my skin.
